2008-11 KTM Enduro Engineering Seat Choices
2008-09 KTM factory seats are softer than in previous years, but still have a narrow, sharp-edge profile and only have about 3 inches of foam (at best) in the sitting area. In our opinion, the stock seat foam starts out hard and then quickly breaks down, allowing heavier riders to sink to the seat base.  EE replacement seats have much better foam durability and a better seat shape with rounded edges instead of sharp angles for greatly increased rider comfort.

75-108 - same height as stock, foam density comparable to stock, but breaks in nicely and is a good comfortable seat for riders over 200 pounds. (Bob and Doug both use this seat on their 300 XC-W's and really like it.)

75-308 - same height as stock, softer foam than stock. This seat is a great choice for lighter riders. (I tried this seat, but at 230 lbs I sink into this seat and hit the base - Bob)

75-208 - about 1.25 inches taller than stock, softer foam than stock. This seat is a good choice for taller riders or riders that sit down most of the day. It is very comfortable and makes the transition from sitting to standing much easier on old knees.  (I use this seat on my 08 450 EXC for dual-sport and "easy" trail riding.  It is very comfortable, but with a 30-inch inseam, I can't touch the ground in the gnarly stuff - Bob)

75-408 - about 1.25 inches taller than stock, firmer foam than stock. This seat is recommended for tall guys with bad knees <grin> who don't sit down much.

2004-07 KTM Enduro Engineering seat choices
2004-07 KTM factory seats are as hard as the proverbial 2 x 4 and suffer from a poorly designed seat base.  Enduro Engineering's custom seat base features air channels to allow sufficient airflow to the airbox, yet provides a much more comfortable platform for the rider with an extra 2+ inches of foam in a stock height seat.  EE replacement seats have much better foam durability and a better seat shape with rounded edges instead of sharp angles for greatly increased rider comfort.

Note:  If you have the MXC/XC-W (525) tank shown in the picture above, there will be gap between the seat and tank.  EE does not make a seat specifically for this tank.

75-100 - same height as stock, softer foam than stock. This is a good comfortable seat for riders wanting a firm but comfortable seat.

75-300 - same height as stock, much softer foam than stock. This super-soft seat is our best selling seat for 2004-07 KTMs and is very popular with sit down riders.  Riders over 240 lbs will probably prefer the slightly firmer 75-100.

75-200 - about 1.25 inches taller than stock, softer foam than stock. This seat is a good choice for taller riders or riders that sit down most of the day. It is very comfortable and makes the transition from sitting to standing much easier on old knees.

75-400 - about 1.25 inches taller than stock, firmer foam than stock. This seat is recommended for tall guys with bad knees <grin> who don't sit down much.
 

Seat Diagram The Enduro Engineering KTM seat features air channels built in to maximize airflow to the airbox. This seat was designed with a new rubberized foam that resists breakdown, but is still soft so you are not riding on the seat pan after a few rides. It is a full gripper seat cover for traction. Want more height? Order a tall seat and gain an additional 1.25 inches of cushion for more leg room.
