Boyesen QuickShot 3 is the ultimate in
adjustable fuel injection for a Keihin FCR carburetor. The QuickShot 3 is a
high-performance accelerator pump cover with a built-in adjustable leak jet
circuit for simple hand tuning.
A stock accelerator pump cover allows only a 60% - 70% fuel
charge in the accelerator pump chamber, while air fills the remaining space. Turning the throttle
activates the accelerator pump, but air trapped in the chamber
gets compressed, disrupting fuel delivery and often causing a hesitation or
bog at the very moment you need immediate response from your engine. The
proven Boyesen QuickShot
2 has shown that
eliminating trapped air allows for solid fuel delivery 100% of the time,
providing the instant acceleration the rider needs.
The adjustable leak jet function of the
Boyesen QuickShot 3 allows the duration
of the accelerator pump "squirt" to be fine tuned without removing the
accelerator pump cover and replacing the leak jet, saving you time and
money. Unlike other adjustable leak jet devices on the market, the
QuickShot 3 does not require any drilling or other carburetor modifications.
